Far North Discovery

This tour is 12 days of the finest riding New Zealand’s North Island has to offer, and some of our personal favourites. Starting in Auckland we'll first ride to the Coromandel Peninsula and enjoy the twisting coastal roads and the stunning views that make this a popular destination for locals. We'll follow this up with an unforgettable ride around the remote and wind swept East Cape to Gisborne - first to see the new day. We'll enjoy a couple of days in the beautiful Art Deco city of Napier where we will enjoy a leisurely tour of local Hawkes Bay vineyards by vintage car and take in the panoramic views from mighty Te Mata Peak. Heading inland we'll ride across the stunning Ruahine Ranges where we'll have the range road &amp; the views to ourselves, to the Tongariro National Park staying in a majestic chateau on the side Mt Ruapehu. We'll then ride from one majestic mountain to another where we'll enjoy the warm hospitality of a mountain lodge located high up on Mt Taranaki and explore The Forgotten World Highway to the self proclaimed republic of Whangamomona. North Island Grand Tour 

24 Days of the best motorcycle touring in New Zealand ﻿Come ride the length and breadth of NZ with Open Road.
